The real heartbeat of Lauren Kuznia Photography. Being a mama has really transformed me, and the way I view this deep relationship. I have a huge heart for the new mom in the throws of the night-wakings and early mornings, the dishes and bottles in the sink, and the never-ending laundry cycle. I get it, because I’m here, too. You are the heartbeat of your home and chances are your camera roll is full of pictures of your kids. Are you in them? Time to get dressed up and step in front of the camera, mama. I promise it’ll be fun and you’ll never regret capturing this season of life in beautiful images you can treasure and display in your home.

The way your baby snuggles into your chest, grabs your hand to go for a walk, or grabs your face with her chubby hands as she leans in for a kiss. There is magic and oh so much joy in these moments. I can’t wait for you to see yourself through my photos the way your child sees you. So stop waiting for the perfect time, stop taking photos of your baby sleeping (ok, you don’t have to do that - they’re soo cute!) but let’s capture you in the story because you’re a pretty darn big part of It.

And what will your babies want to see? Another picture of them holding a pumpkin? Or a photograph of you holding their hand, twirling them around, playing with them? Whether you want a quiet cuddle session in the studio with soft textures and sleepy smiles, or an adventurous walk in the woods singing and dancing while you splash through puddles and search for pine cones, I am there for it! No doubt, breastfeeding is innately personal. Some breastfeeding journeys are easy, and some mothers walk a very rocky nursing path. But without question, breastfeeding is a huge commitment. If you’re on a breastfeeding journey, I’d encourage you to document it. Step out of the quiet nursery, and let’s steal some moments of you nourishing and connecting with your baby. I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I ever stood in front of the mirror when I nursed. Taking a selfie doesn’t quite capture the joy and bond. Wouldn’t it be amazing to see yourself doing something you’re designed to do?
